Jesi recently moved to Texas after living in Southern California for 13 years, but she is a Louisiana girl through and through. She has been able to partner with and learn from artists from around the US.
The majority of her work is self-initiated. Mixed Media is where her heart is at. She loves piecing together found materials and random scraps to create unique and captivating artwork.
Jesi is a talented and passionate artist who discovered her love for art at a young age. She pursued her passion by taking advanced art classes in high school, where she was inspired greatly by her teacher’s passion. She honed her skills and developed her signature style both inside and outside of the classroom.
Her artwork is inspired by her experiences in life, and each piece is carefully crafted with attention to detail and a deep understanding of color, composition, and form.
Jesi is enjoying exhibiting her work locally. She has a desire to create murals locally as well. She wants to continue to inspire and captivate audiences with her unique vision and talent.
Jesi works mainly with mixed media. Her work is largely acrylic over multiple layers of collage and texturing techniques. Building a textured and layered base for her work has been a signature of her style since she was a teenager. Recently, she has enjoyed painting over layered maps of Texas.
Jesi is a worship pastor with over 25 years of ministry experience. Her desire is to encourage and equip her team and she seeks to provide training and opportunities for those who have a desire to grow as worship leaders. She is passionate about providing spiritual guidance and insight, connecting her team to the power of prayer and Scripture. She is very systems-minded and loves to implement creative ways to keep everything running smoothly.
